The Provox TrachPhone HME – offering effective pulmonary and vocal rehabilitation for tracheostomy patients. This four in one device is highly cost effective and available on prescription (UK only) enabling continuity of care from hospital to home.

This state-of-the-art HME system (heat and moisture exchanger) is intended for spontaneously breathing patients with a tracheostomy tube.

Features:

  • Integrated Speech valve, suction port and oxygen port built in one device
  • Can be used with both adult and paediatric/neonatal patients (recommended tidal volume 50-1000ml)
  • Prevents patients being confined to their beds, aiding recovery
  • Very lightweight, only 2.9 g, resulting in minimal stress on the tracheostomy tube
  • Fits all tracheostomy tubes with a standard ISO 15mm male connector
  • Came top of all passive HMEs tested1 by the independent Medical Device Agency (MDA)
  • Available on prescription (UK only) ensuring continuity of care from hospital to home
